Technical Features for Simrad HALO™-4 Pulse Compression Radar

The Simrad HALO-3 is InstantOn pulse compression radar with 3' antenna, RI-12 interface module and 20m cable. It uses pulse compression technology to provide an unprecedented mix of long and short detection range, high target definition and minimal clutter. The solid state technology means minimal warm-up time and maximum ocean-going reliability, while compliance with upcoming low emission standards makes this radar safe to run in anchorages and marinas.

The HALO-3 features beam sharpening, dual range operation and advanced signal processing. It has 8 usage modes with automatic harbour/offshore selection. The radar provides ethernet connectivity, MARPA target tracking and uncompromising aesthetics.
